My childhood’s handheld console was a Sony PSP. Unfortunately, I had no computer to look up how to make the 100% out of that piece of hardware at the time. Fast forward to today, and I can say I’m pretty happy with custom firmware to read game ISOs.
Recently, I discovered that one can also load MP4 videos on the PSP, even without a custom firmware. To embrace the inherent aesthetic, I decided to turn some of the films and shows I’m watching into a format that is readable on the PSP.
As you may infer from the last sentence, this is not a collection of original UMD video releases, but rather my personal adventures with Handbrake across the Seven Seas.
